About the Course
BSc (Hons) Criminology explores the causes of crime, criminal behaviour and the ways society responds through policing, punishment and rehabilitation. You’ll examine how social, psychological and economic factors influence crime while developing an understanding of the criminal justice system.
Throughout the course, you may study areas such as criminological theories, policing, prisons, youth crime, organised crime, victimology, criminal investigation and contemporary issues in crime and justice.
